Life, Healing and Art
Join artist Destanne Norris on Saturday, November 5th from 1:00pm-4:00pm for a visual presentation and express with paint workshop exploring life, healing and art.
On October 6th, 4 Peace Country artists will take over Laurels Packinghouse for a 4-hour pop-up exhibition. Carmen Haakstad, Jim Stokes, Debbie Courvoisier, and Carrie Klukas are set to showcase their recent works and introduce themselves to the beautiful Okanagan region.
Last year, the Central Okanagan Hospice Association’s (COHA) Expressions of Death Community Art Show was seen by over 850 visitors and started a conversation about how art can communicate the challenging topic of dying, grief and life after.
