EVERYONE CAN GET INVOLVED!
There are many ways that you can get involved with COHA and help those living until death and bereaved loved ones in the Central Okanagan.
Becoming a part of our direct-service volunteer team (working directly with clients) requires a 40-hour training course that is offered to qualified applicants. Information sessions are held a few times a year so that you can learn more about direct-service roles. If you would like to learn more fill out our Volunteer Application and we will let you know when the next information session will be held.
Throughout the year we need volunteers for our COHA Cares programs, which often don’t require special training. Learn more about what you can do as a volunteer with COHA.
Should you wish to help steer the organization, we sometimes have opportunities at the Board level. We seek those with skill and experience to help guide COHA to become the best it can be.
You can assist us by becoming a member of COHA on a year-to-year basis or as a lifetime member. Membership is integral to our stability and success.
We wouldn’t be the organization we are today without our hundreds of volunteers and we hope you consider joining us.
